Using the CISCO3845-AVG-64 3845 Video Encoding Bundle with 4 EVM-IPVS-16a for 64 ports, IP Base, 64MB Flash and 256MB DRAM

Anyone ever used this module?

I am looking for documentation on it but not finding it on Cisco's site other than the datasheet which doesnt have the detail I need.

Do any of you know if I need 4 GigE connections for all 4 modules?

I know there is more documents out there but I haven't found the links for them.

The first link indicates that you can use the gig port on the module as an additional router port.  I've haven't been able to find it again but I thought I had read that this port has been disabled in a newer software release.

That first link also shows an example of how to use one of the main router ethernet ports for the AVG modules.  Each module gets an IP address and can router its  traffic through the router ethernet port.
