VSM 6.3.1 and Windows 8 Machines MSI Error 1904 Hresult 2147024769

Team,

got a W8 user at one of my locations that is having issues installing the cisco client software on his machine. Error 1904 Hresult 2147024769

Searching around on the forums it appears that its a MSI installer package that is out of date.

Did anyone run into the same issue? We've tried manually registering the DLL without success.

I haven't personally tried getting VSM 6.X working on a Windows 8 client.  I'm still fairly certain it isn't supported at all.

If I get the opportunity to give it a try, I'll see if I can get around it.

yeah that might be the end of the servers =)

wiped out one of the MSP's earlier and am struggling with it now.
