Alert suggestion for Duo Security Authentication Proxy Service?

Just seeing what Duo suggests and or other admins out there do for alerting if the “Duo Security Authentication Proxy Service” is stopped.

If you have a continuous monitoring tool such as PRTG, you can enable sensors that will monitor and alert to changes in the service status:

You can also use similar tools or scripts to perform port monitoring on the Auth Proxies if they are configured to listen on RADIUS or LDAP ports for incoming authentications. F5 appliances can perform RADIUS health checks, for example: https://help.duo.com/s/article/2962
