Dual Security Screen for RDP MFA can be bypassed simply by closing

Hello, 

I'm new to using Duo so I apologize if this topic has already been brought up.

I'm using DUO MFA to protect my RDP connections. 
But the mfa security box can be bypassed by simply closing it (X on top right). 
Is this normal behavior?

Thanks for asking. No, that wouldn't be expected and when I RDP to a system that has Duo installed closing the prompt returns me to the Windows credentials prompt.
