I need to configure Duo to work with Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 which I’ve done to a point. The problem we are seeing once we log into the server and then su to root it doesn’t ask for the password. Basically, it will let anyone into root. This works as in should in Redhat. What PAM configs should I look at (in Solaris) to get the server to prompt me for root’s password?

Hi @Rick_Jones. Did you ever find a solution to this?

Hi @jobyangu, are you experiencing a similar issue as OP? I realize it’s been a long time now, but I recommend you and @Rick_Jones, if applicable, contact Duo Support for assistance with this.
Some things that would be good to know: Have you already referenced our help article “Can I configure Duo Unix for Solaris?” and are you following the documentation for Duo Unix with PAM support here?
