We are running IP communicator 8.6.3.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise x64.
Users are issued plantronics USB headsets (478 USB, US).
When running the Audio Tuning Wizard, the only option available is "Default windows audio device", it does not allow to select the headset.
The only way to get it to work is to set the headset as the default audio device in Windows, which is not ideal as staff would like to only use the headset for phone
calls and other audio should come through the laptop speakers.
I did some research on this and some people ran in to it when Windows 7 was still in beta and they had to run the application in compatiblity mode for Vista SP2, however that did not work for me.
