Hi Guys,
We have 6509-E running in VSS with two new modules WS-X6716-10GE-3C on two switches added. We got few X2-10GB-SR GBIC's for the same. but now only around four or five are getting detected. the rest of the GIBIC's are not showing in the "show inventory" list. These are cisco gibic's. The same gibic's while connected to another module in the same switch WS-X6708-10GE is detecting. all are of version -06 and i believe should be of the same batch. The VSS is running with VS-S720-10GE-MSFC and ios running is 12.2(33)SXI13. i am not sure why these gibics are not showing on either of the 6716-10GE modules. i have tried around 15 of them and only around 6 of them got detected.
is there anything specific to be enabled on the module for these gibic's to be supported.
help is really appreciated.
