How to configure routing like this using subinterface

I got this from keith barker vidoes on ospf load balancing

How to connect two routers using subinterface,

i tried in gns 3 , created subinterfaces but giving an error


% Configuring IP routing on a LAN subinterface is only allowed if that
subinterface is already configured as part of an IEEE 802.10, IEEE 802.1Q,
or ISL vLAN.

Also I used encapuslation on both sides and tried to ping but its not pinging 

Any suggestion here would be helpful
