I've had a number of users contact me because they cannot hear any sound when playing recorded meetings in remote session to a Windows 2008R2 terminal server. In testing I was able to replicate the problem.
Further testing uncovered that the same meeting plays without issue in remote sessions to a Windows 10 workstation, 2012R2 terminal and 2016 terminal server.
The 2008R2 terminal servers are running the 8.1 update of RDP and have Desktop Experience enabled.
I'm looking to see if anyone has run into this before and if you were able to resolve the problem. I greatly appreciate the help.
