We have 8811 and 8851 telephones here in our offices. A few years ago I worked at a location that had 7942G and 7962G phones. On the 7900 series phones missed calls would show on the phone display. If you had 2 missed calls it would spell it out on the phone display as a notification in addition to it being in the Missed call log. On the 8811 and 8851 you get an entry in the missed call log and an icon with the missed call indication on the right side session keys.
My question, is there any way to get Missed call notification to appear on the display again with the number of missed calls on the 8811? Or is this functionality just different on the 8811 vs the 7942's? Any help, appreciated. CUCM 11.5.1 SU4. Thanks.
