Hi all,
I have just purchased a CAP3702i access point to get myself into the .11ac era and this seemed like a good candidate to replace my C1142n. I have reflashed it from lightweight to standalone mode via the mode button method, and I can talk to it and configure it just fine. However, the Web GUI does not seem to work at all. I have done the usual ip http server and ip http secure-server commands as on every prior device, and the web server answers, but only with a blank page. When I do a show-source, I see a ton of javascript variables and stuff, but this javascript links to some files (config.js, frameHome.html, banner.html) which return 404 errors. It seems there is something wrong with the internal web server, but I can't really debug what. terminal monitor and debug ip http all show me that the requests are handled ok.
I have tried current Firefox, IE11, Edge and Chrome, and they all fail to render any page.
I have reinstalled the firmware (ap3g2-k9w7-tar.153-3.JC3 is the newest I could get my hands on, which doesn't look that old to me) with the /erase option to make sure I have a clean installation.
I have poked around on the flash filesystem, and there is the /html and its /level/1 and /level/15 folders inside the firmware folder. There's a ton of html and gz files in there, but if I try to access any of them via the browser, I get 404s.
If this was a PC, I would guess there is some permission issue on the files or something like that.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue, or point me into a direction for further debugging?
