Our ISP transmits actually in ADSL and he annonced us that he want to migrate soon all clients in VDSL. For various reasons, we must change our modem router. Our problem is to live the migration. We would like to be independant of the mode of transmission (when possible) in order to invest the minimum.
Therefore, we think to buy one modem and one router.
For the router, we opted for one RV220W.
What can we put between the RV220W and our ISP ? in a first step, one ADSL modem; in a second step, one VDSL modem ?
Does Cisco recommend modems ? Do exist modems which are only modem ?!
Another approach would be to buy one modem-router which supports the both modes: does Cisco propose such products for small business ?
