Hi all,

i've bought a Cisco RV 340 VPN Router for my network. Behind my router there are 2 cisco managed switches. The internet is provided by a cable modem which is configured in bridge mode.

I've tried to set a VPN up, but i can't connect to my network from outside. I hope you can give me some advise.

I've taken several screenshots from the config page.

WAN Settings:

on what IP VPN trying to connect from externally ?

If the ISP offering RFC 1918 address this is not going to work, you need to contact ISP for the Public IP,

or use any dynamic DNS Server ?

I've called my ISP to check my modem. It's set so bridged mode. The strange thing is, wenn i go to the system summary page, the wan IP is the IP address, which assigned the modem to the router.

when i do a "what's my ip"-lookup , my PC is recogniced as 90.146.*.*

But if a activate my dyndns account, the dyndns is connected with 192.168.1.151. The modem has an active dhcp server, an assigned 192.168.1.151 to my router. is this the problem?
