Configuration RV320 e PPPOE

Hello guys! I'm new to the world in the universe cisco routers.
My company gets a dual router cisco dual wan for internet contigency.
I have an internet ADSL (PPPOE) in which I would like to connect the wan1 port of my router, it assigns user and authentication password of my modem to the router without success. So my question is:
Do I have to leave my modem in bright mode and the router to distribute dhcp?
Is it any problem to keep DHCP and PPPOE active on the modem and router?
