we can set up TFTP server hostname, its IP and filename for booting on rv325 DHCP configuration. Please see attached screenshot.
The problem is that host gets IP address from DHCP, it gets option 67 from TFTP server hostname field (of DHCP configuration on router) it gets filename from Configuration filename field, but host cannot PXE boot, because Next Server IP address is not set on DHCP offer and instead of querying boot file from TFTP server, client requests it from DHCP server.
My question is, why we even need that TFTP Server IP field, because DHCP server never sends it to client (it sends hostname only)?
Is there a way to specify Next server IP (siAddr) in oruter configuration? or should we stop using it and rather setup separate DHCP server?
