Apparently one of my two ISPs,CenturyLink, supports 6rd connections to IPv6.
This is supported natively on my Q1000 ActionTec modem, however my modem is in "transparent bridging" mode, so that the RV042 v3 can be the only router.
Please can you explain how to configure the RV042 to operate in this manner.
Per the CenturyLink FAQ: the IPv6 address space is:
2602::0 /24
Most importantly, can I do this WITHOUT buying a new modem.

My name is Johnnatan Rodriguez, you don't have to buy a new modem, you can configure ipv6 6rd in your RV042 v3, here is the link where you can find the GUI configuration

I have gone through the document, and I do not understand how to make it work. I do not have a RV220W router. I only have the RV042 v3 router.
Please give more detail on how to set this up properly. I have done the following steps:
1) Under Network: Dual-stack IP enabled
2) Under IPv6 Transition: Enable 6to4 Tunnel
3) Under DHCP>Router Advertisement> Enable Managed
Then it says to check to see if IPv6 devices acquire 6to4 (2002:WAN IP in HEX ::) prefixes for stateless auto-configuration. I check the IP address of my computer, and under prefixes there is a couple of entries starting with 2002.
The rest of the configuration document appears to apply to the RV220W and setting up a tunnel to it. Since I don't have one of those, I can't do any of those steps.
Checking: http://ismyipv6working.com/ and http://test-ipv6.com/ reveal my IPv6 is NOT working.
dkabal$ ping6 ipv6.google.com
PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2002:4328:31a2::e0a0:a829:b705:c281 --> 2607:f8b0:4002:801::1011
so ipv6 dns is working? the ping never come back, same deal on the RV042 interface whois returns IPv6 address, ping fails to resolve.
