I did not see any specific alerts for just the firmware. The client who has one needs to be HIPAA compliant so being able to know if there's an upgrade available would be great. I know Cisco's site has a notification option but it would be nice to know if a specific device needs an update or not instead of having to remote in to check.
If there is no way for it to do so from the device itself, is there a program that can be run that will scan a network location to check?
