Hi I’m looking at improving our network and really need some support with what my options are..
At the moment we have a HQ site with our main resource servers this is connected to the internet by (TalkTalk business ) DSL – Fibre connection into the provided Technicolor TG582n router with Fixed IP
We have a second site and would like to connect this second site into the existing domain network and also allow remote workers to connect with a VPN client this second site just has a standard DSL connection and dynamic IP address currently
Please can you assist?
Cheers
Dan

You could use client access VPN on the machines at location two. Or setup a lan-to-lan VPN tunnel. You would need the appropriate devices for this setup.

You can set up a site to site, between the HQ side and the second side, and have a VPN software solution to connect remotely, AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client SSL is a recommended software for this purpose. Now, what are the devices that you have to create the site to site? and which will be the VPN server for the Remote users?
- Also for you to know, once you have the VPN remote users set up on any of the 2 sides, you can redirect the traffic to access also the other side of the tunnel <L2L> and access internal resources of the VPN server as well.
