Hi

I have just bought this router and i am trying to replace a good working router but with no VPN support.

I upgraded this router to Firmware Version:  V2.0.2.1-ETSI and problem still continue

I only set the L2TP Server , user and password.

I also tried to assign an IP, GW and mask after my old , active Router got them and this is still not working ..

this is my error log:

Hello Hanan,

Thank you for posting. I am a little unclear about what you are attempting to do. The WRVS4400N has L2TP passthrough but no L2TP server. Are you having trouble with L2TP passthrough to another server?

Hi

I am trying to connect to my cables L2TP server.

I am having IP from the cable modem if i chose dynamic IP option just to verify from all is good from cable mode to ISP.

I also try connect with the same l2tp , user , password from a DLINK DIR-655 and all works fine.

When i take the DIR0655 out and put this one i get the errors above.

So i guess i have  trouble with L2TP passthrough to another server although this error "Jan  1 00:00:54  - No response to PAP authenticate-requests" is very strange ...

Thanks

hanan
