RV042 Signs out Even after I added the IP in the Protocol Binding List

Hello,

I have a Cisco RV042. I am using the Load Balance mode as I have 2 bandwidth.

I have gone ahead & added Exception under Protocol binding for several websites as I need the connection from a dedicated WAN.

Most of the sites are working fine. However, there are some websites that keep on signing out even though the exception has been added.

The same websites work fine if I test the same under Smart link back up.

This indicates the exception added does not seem to be working for some sites.

Is there any other setting that I need to tweak.

Thanks in Advance.

Mack.

Hello,

I hope you are doing well, my name is Jonathan and I am one of the Engineers from theSmall business department. I apologize for the inconvenince this may be causing you.

-what firmware version is the router using now?
-have you tested by adding the protocol binding on the other wan, i understand you need a dedicated ISP for this sites but could you test and see if the same thing happen to it.
-have you performed a factory reset if not, i can suggest a reflash or upgrade if necessary and then trying the rules again.
-if you need further help here you have the link to open a case with us.

Hello,

Sorry for the Late reply.
Firmware Version :     v4.2.3.08
Yes, I have tried to switch to both WAN 1 by 1 & its the same behavior.
Also recently I check the sys logs for the specific site & its show the request is going through both Eth 1 & 2.
And the other websites that has been added & working fine are communication through Eth2 only (As selected)
No, I have not done a factory reset since I had this issue.
However, I did a reset 2 months back when I did this New setup.
Is there any setting / configuration that you think will resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance.
