Hi,
Today I purchased a RV042 wired router. I set the VPN connection but when I try to login using QuickVPN, get stucks in "Verifying network". I checked the logs:

I googled and tried most of the possible solutions but nothing works.
From my side Im connected to a WRT54G2. VPN Passthrough enabled. Windows 7 Pro x64. No 3rd party AV or firewall. Windows Firewall disabled, also tried enabling it.
From the RV042 side it has a Static IP Address configured. DHCP server enabled. HTTPS enabled. UPnP disabled. L2TP disabled.Firewall disabled. Block WAN Requests disabled.
Im ran out of options. Can you, please, help me?

QuickVPN pings the RV042 to test the connection after the encryption phase is complete. By the looks of your log, the ping is not working. Check that the Firewall --> General --> Block WAN request is disabled. If it is, you may want to check your firewall settings on the PC, usually you can enable traffic by application. Enable it for QuickVPN.

Are you using the latest QVPN software (V1.4.2.1) ?
THANKS

I have an RV042 that I'm trying to get QuickVPN to work on. No success yet. But I did notice that you said "windows firewall disabled, also tried enabling it." If I understand Cisco instructions correctly, windows 7 firewall must be enabled for IPSec to be enabled. I do not think it will work with windows firewall disabled in Windows 7.

Hi all, thanks for the relpies . After checking, double checking and triple checking everything, I noticed that a few seconds after I enable windows firewall, the IPSec agent service get an error and stops automatically. So I created a VM, tried to connect and worked. My bad, sorry :$. Thank you all ^^

Got mine working by typing my user name correctly.... i had capitalized it in one place and not in the other. Just kills me when I make these kind of simple mistakes that take hours to solve. earlier.... now!

Pablo & Mark,
Thank you for posting your findings. Sometimes we overlook things like you mentioned and we get too focused on the "complex" stuff. This is a good reminder for us to check the basics as well.
Have a great day!
