rv082 configure one-to-one nat

Hello,

following issue: cisco epc3925 in transparent bridge provided by isp with following wan details ip=x.x.x.120 subnet=255.255.255.248 gw=x.x.x.121 and 2 dns server ip's

I can't get the one-to-one nat working. anyone able to give me some pointers in the right direction. read in some forums that the rv082 can do the job.

Hello Wim van Noort,

The RV082 does support 1-to-1 NAT. How are you looking to use 1-to-1 NAT? Do you have a block of public IPs you are trying to assign back to some servers?

Correct, three servers, I want to nat to from a block of public ip's

for example

public address x.x.x.123 <> lan address 172.x.x.15 services https and http

public address x.x.x.124 <> lan address 172.x.x.10 service rdp  

public address x.x.x.125 <> lan address 172.x.x.1 services https

Under Setup > one-to-one NAT, make sure it is enabled. Then you will add the Public IP, the Private IP and in this case put range length as 1. You will have to create an entry for each server.

If you want to test this connection, go to that server then to a site like IPchicken.com and see what public IP address it is showing as.

Hello Robert,

that is also the way i set it up. but then it dawned on me when you mentioned to check the public ip on the server which is nat-to-nat enabled. ipchicken.com as im from the netherlands i use myip.nl for checking. never the less for that to check i needed to change the gateway on the server to the rv082. and now i can also connect to the designated ip from the internet. i didn't know that the gateway is the trigger. so thanks for pointing me in the right direction :-)
