I recently installed an RV082 on my network to serve as a gateway. Now when I try to login to my exchange server I get self-signed certificates from the RV082 and I cannot figure out how to stop the RV082 from doing so.
Any suggestions (other than unplugging it)?
Thanks,
Gregg

Firmware 4.0.3.03 or newer fixed a port forwarding issue with ports 80 and 443.

Thank you. I have tried to upgrade to upgrade to the current firmware v 4.04 using the firmware upgrade in the router but it has failed a few times and remains at the 2.02 level. The v4 update says it is for an RV082 but maybe it is for newer rev hw as mine has no rev #.
Could it be that the v4 update filename ends in .bin while the v2.02 update ends in .rmt?
The new firmware says:
RV0XX-v4.0.4.02-tm-20110704-code.bin
Release Date: 22/AUG/2011
RV042, RV082, RV016 firmware 4.0.4.02-tm (V3 hardware required
Size: 26640.00 KB (27279360 bytes) |
I am not sure if the (v3 hardware required) refers to all models or just the RV016?
Is there an alternative way to upgrade firmware using another tool?
Thanks!

your RV082 will not be v3 hardware if your already using the latest v2.02.01-tm firmware.

Gregg,
The work around will be to disable HTTPS remote managment for your router. Make sure you have the forwarding rule to your exchange server also.
Let me know if this helped.
Thanks,
