RV110W + SSL Forwarding and VPN

Hello,

I have a problem configuring port forwarding to 443 and having client VPN to work.

When 443 is NOT forwarded, VPN just runs fine (QuickVPN).

As soon as I enable 443, the VPN stops working. No client can connect.

I have the latest 1.2.0.9 firmware.

Is there a way to enable 443 and having VPN to work at the same time ? I need 443 for Exchange.

Thanks,

Benoit

Port 60443 can be used instead if 443 for the QVPN.

Using 60443 in QVPN doesn't work either.

Hi Benoit, if 60443 does not work you have a different problem.

Port forwarding 443 to a different application does not break the QVPN provided you have 60443 also available and using either 60443 on the QVPN software or by using 'auto' for the port specified. You may try setting the router's remote management to port 60443 and see if that helps. If it doesn't help you should investigate the possibility of too broad of services specified within port forwarding or possibly closed by an upstream hardware or the ISP.

Enabling remote management on 60443 and using QVPN on 60433 instead of 443 did the trick.

It now work but I can't understand the logic of it

Thanks for your help.
