RV130 and iPhone

I would like to connect to RV130 router with my iPhone more secure VPN then PPTP. I found that RV130 uses IPSec for remote worker but I can't configure it for my iPhone. 

Can someone give me advice or talk me that iPhone can connect to RV130 with IPSec?

Hello, 

The RV130W does support IPSec VPN clients but not the Cisco IPSec VPN client, which is mostly used with Enterprise Devices and also the one that is compatible with the iPhone built in IPSec client.

From the admin guide, on page 119, it indicates that the IPSec VPN Server is compatible with the Greenbow and Shrewsoft VPN clients, unfortunately it doesnt look like there is a mobile version of that software for iOS.

It seems like, for the moment, the only solution supported by this router to establish a VPN to an iOS device is the PPTP VPN.

I just bought an RV130W and I want to work remotely on my file server at home, from an IPad. Can I do that through VPN? I very disappointed to find that I cannot. Why it’s so hard to implement that IPSec type? The hardware supporting this. I worked for many years with Cisco switches but now my confidence in Cisco is seriously affected!
