RV134W PQ Clarification

• There is no reference to the term PQ, in relationship to QOS, in the RV134 administrator guide.  I assume PQ stands for Priority Queue.  The exact wording from the software screen is  "PQ's rate limit is not shared with Queue 1-4" .  I want to use the PQ QOS method for my voice VLAN, only 500kbits/s, yet I want to send this traffic as soon as possible - reduce latency.  Does PQ on the RV134W equate to the same function as the strict queue on the SRP527W, i.e, takes priority over all other queues?

Hi IIiya,

I will open a support case, yet the question is in relationship to PQ, it is not mentioned in the Administrator Guide, not that I can find anyway. My view is that, if a menu option is available for the Router, it should be covered in the Administrator Guide and not omitted with no explanation.
