Hi, to everyone, we bought RV180 to change a Linksys E4200 because we need to do some NAT 1 to 1 for couple of servers

RV180 default configurations, no DHCP service, no VPN, no Vlan, static Ip address.

Provaider: Comcast (bridge mode) Five external IPs

Service: 50 mbps down 10 mbps up

Router: RV180

DHCP Server: Microsoft Small Business 2011, active directory, exchange server 2010

Switch: Cisco SGE2010P (No VLANs)

50 LAN nodes, computers, laptops, printers, wireless, etc

we have brand new cabling cta5e

I noticed that the internet get slow and doing some pings and tracerouts noticed I was getting frecuntly time outs, call ISP they check the line, everything ok, still getting timeouts,I connected a computer directly to the modem using one of the extrenal IP addresses and worked fine, I change the RV180 for E4200 and everything it's working fine

Any advice?

  Thanks

Antonio

I've change the RV180 for Cisco Valet M10 load with DD-WRT firmware (www.dd-wrt.com) and it's working fine, no timeouts or drops in the WAN in 4 days. Could it be a bad RV180?
