RV180 Static Route Configuration

Good Evening,

I have a RV180 router which I need to install into a rack in a 3rd party datacentre.

The RV180 is to replace an ageing Draytek.

The purpose of the router is to connect my VM host to the another of my servers which is located within the same datacentre but on a different network.

The existing Draytek has the following configuration - IP's changed for safety:

  WAN IP: 152.96.0.2

  Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

  Gateway IP: 152.96.0.1

  DNS IP: 8.8.8.8

  MTU: 1442

LAN IP: 192.168.80.1 (The Routers IP)

  Static Route #1:

  Destination IP: 192.168.78.0

  Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

  Gateway IP: 152.96.0.1

  Interface: WAN

  Static Route #2:

  Destination IP: 20.8.100.0

  Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.254

  Gateway IP: 156.96.0.1

  Inteface: WAN

When I set this configuration on the RV180 it is unable to ping my server in the 192.168.78 network or any external IP - such as 8.8.8.8.

I can only ping servers inside of the 156.96.0 network.

I have the latest firmware: 1.0.3.10.

I have made sure the static routes are enabled.

I have added inbound & outbound firewall rules to allow all traffic.

I have set the router in NAT mode.

  What am I doing wrong?

Regards

Rob
