Hello,
I need your help to configure the RV325 correctly. I spent a few days on this topic, but I don't find any solution.
Here's the scenario...
RV325 configured as gateway with WAN1 and WAN2 working.
Port 6 is member of VLAN6 (untagged),
VLAN6 DHCP is configured as 192.168.6.0/24, RV325s IP is 192.168.6.1
all clients in VLAN6 are working correctly
on client of VLAN6 (192.168.6.2) is a LANCOM router with the default gateway 192.168.6.1
behind the LANCOM router is the 10.0.5.0/24 subnet.
this LANCOM router is able to establish a VPN tunnel to through the RV325 and all clients in the 10.0.5.0/24 subnet are able to connect to hosts through the VPN tunnel
Problem: the clients in the 10.0.5.0/24 subnet are not able to connect to any internet host through the RV325. Of course, I added the route to the 10.0.5.0/24 network with the 192.168.6.2 gateway on the RV325.
The same scenario worked well with a RV042G before. It works if I replace the RV325 with a other LANCOM router. The only difference is the VLAN6 which is only configured on the RV325.
Any suggestions from the experts?
Thank you.
Rene

Hello,
One question about your statements:
all clients in the 10.0.5.0/24 subnet are able to connect to hosts through the VPN tunnel
Problem: the clients in the 10.0.5.0/24 subnet are not able to connect to any internet host through the RV325.
Sorry but I did not follow you.
What do you mean by hosts on the first statement and where they are?
What do you mean by hosts on the second statement ?

Hello,
I see your point. So, what I tried to say is that I can connect to servers on the other side of the VPN tunnel from my 10.0.5.0/24 network. The LANCOM establishes the VPN tunnel correctly through the RV325.
At the same time, I can't reach any other host (e.g. www.google.com) from my 10.0.5.0/24 network. I also can't ping the RV325s IP (192.168.6.1) from the 10.0.5.0/24 network. If I'm using a client in the 192.168.6.0/24 (VLAN6) network, I have no issue. For me it seems that the RV325 needs some settings to route packages to the 10.0.5.0/24 network which is behind the LANCOM router (192.168.6.2).
Thank you,
Rene

Not sure if your problem is the RV325 but maybe I still didn´t take the picture properly.
Who ends the VPN tunnel? Another LANCOM router?
The way I see it, RV325 is being used just as tunnel traversal. If so, it plays no hole on the Internet access. If you stablish a tunnel with another router, all the communicatioin go over this tunnel and it is up to the other end handle packets either to local or remote network like internet.

Hello,
here's my topology:
VPN remote site====INTERNET====RV325=192.168.6.0/24(VLAN6)=LANCOM=10.0.5.0/24
||
From the 10.0.5.0/24 the VPN remote site is reachable, but www.google.com is not.
From the 192.168.6.0/24 (VLAN6) www.google.com is reachable.
Static route to 10.0.5.0/24 via LANCOM IP was added to RV325, but it is still not working.
Thank you,
Rene

Hello,
here's my setup:

From the 10.0.5.0/24 the VPN remote site is reachable, but www.google.com is not.
From the 192.168.6.0/24 (VLAN6) www.google.com is reachable.
Static route to 10.0.5.0/24 via LANCOM IP was added to RV325, but it is still not working.

From a PC on the 10.0.5.0/24 network, execute the following command:
tracert 8.8.8.8 (Windows)
trace route 8.8.8.8 (Linux)
also:
nslookup www.google.com
Show me the output.
