RV345 mobile connection keeps dropping - unusable

Using USB730L

Connects for a few seconds then drops.   Tried on USB1 and USB2.     Get a small amount of data then disconnects.

Latest firmware.

USZB730L works correctly with reliable connection when connected directly to a laptop.  Signal level is OK.

Hello Joseff,

Since you are using an officially supported model of 4G USB dongle USB730L you should not have any mobile connectivity issues. You have to check what firmware version you are running and if is prior release 1.0.03.19, please update to that one (https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286287791/type/282465789/release/1.0.03.19). Make sure you really have good coverage, the signal is ok and do not experience any wireless interference. Also, check the connection status via the USB Light - it should be amber if the USB dongle is recognized but fails to connect to the ISP.

Regards,

Martin
