Hi, i have the Protectlink service and i just received a mandatory upgrade firmware from the immediately previous firmware where everything worked and now with update WAN access is blocked. Access log is attached. Revert to previous version firmware and it works again with PPOE on DSL modem. Problem is LAN to WAN access is BLOCKED ! See attached log. No password or user account issue.
i don't want to loose the Protectlink service, but i have to have net access. (currently using a different vendor's product to communicate this.
What is the fix CISCO ?

This is a issue that needs to go to the SBSC (1-866-606-1866), open a case.
I have a similar issue, and need to upgrade to not lose the ProtectLink protection.
Lets see what they have to say about the issue.....

L2 support concluded broken RVS4000 after online evaluation.
Replacement under warranty.
