The crossover function

Dear all,

Regarding to the connection RV110W to any Cisco router, should I use a crossover cable accordingly?

Because, I heard that the crossover function is done inside of some switches and routers.

So, I would like to know whthether the function is included into RV110W.

Hello Masato, all of the small business products take care of the crossover with an auto-MDIX. You should be able to use crossover or straight-through without problems.

Best to use straight through on the RV110w unless you have a Cisco switch attached tbh. No point in mixing cables.
