Unable to access web configuration on brand new RV042G

We just purchased this router, and I have connected a computer configured for DHCP directly to a LAN port on this router.  The computer was assigned an IP address of 192.168.1.100, and I can successfully ping the router at its gateway address of 192.168.1.1.  I cannot, however, browse to the login page for the web configuration.  I am getting "This page cannot be displayed."  I get this message whether by http or https.  I am not at a loss and am thinking the router may be defective.

Some things I have tried:

Switched to a different LAN port on the new router

Rebooted the router a few times

Reset the router to factory defaults

Any guesses from anyone?  Thank you for any assistance.

Does your router has the http or https server enable?

http: ip http server
https: ip http secure-server

Could you provide output from show running-config?

I seem to have no way to console into this router.  There is no serial connection.  I've tried every other way to access it using putty to no avail.  If there is a way, I'd be very appreciative to know how.

Thank you.  I have already performed your requested steps previously.  As before, the router powers up, it gives me an IP address of 192.168.1.100, I can ping the router from the computer connected directly to it, but I cannot access the HTTP server to configure the router.  The result, whether by HTTP or HTTPS, is "This page cannot be displayed."

Please note, this computer was previously connected to another router (a D-LINK router) on my test network.  The other router it was connected to also was configured for DHCP.  From this computer, when connected to the other router, I was able to browse into THAT router's web config site with no problem.  So I am very confident the issue is not with the computer.
