Unable to configure gmail RV130W

I have a RV130W and I'm unable to configure gmail to work. The log always says: "syslog: email: FATAL: Could not connect to server: smtp.gmail.com on port: 587"

It should not be difficult but I tried a lot of combination but it does not work.

These are my parameters:

  • mail server = smtp.gmail.com
  • port = 587
  • return and send to email = my email address
  • enryption =TLS
  • authentication = PLAIN
  • authentication email and password = my email and my password

Does someone have some ideas?

Hello Michele,

 

Settings looks good to me I just would advise you to try some other ports recommended by Gmail 

Puerto 465 (se requiere SSL).
Puerto 587 (se requiere TLS).


If this does not work I would advise you to open a case online or by calling 1866-606-1866 so we can check and find what exactly is going on possible recreate this in a lab environment to test it as well.
