Using a smb router in front of an ASA 5506-X firewall.

The goal is to use the router to terminate two wan connections for two separate networks, use the router for ip blacklisting, terminate vpn site-sites, and pass the accepted traffic to the ASA for further processing.  I tried the RV-340, but I could not turn on the VPN feature without the firewall.  Is there a smb router I can use that will provide this the basic router functionality or do I need to purchase a higher end box?

if the delivery of WAN side ethernet, then why not directly delivery to ASA port - why you need other devices between FW and Internet?

or explain more about the use case why required 2 FW?
