Using RV320 in Router Mode

I am using the RV320 in router mode for a block of Public IP's.  Everything is working great just need to ask a question about the DMZ port.  When the NAT/Firewall is turned off, can the DMZ port be used as a LAN port?  All the LAN ports are on the same subnet as the WAN1.

Hi,

DMZ port is "in bridge mode". It doesn't do NAT, regardless the mode of the router. Using the option: Range (DMZ & WAN within same subnet) allows an IP from the WAN IP range to be assigned to a machine connected to the DMZ port. In your case this will be an IP address from the LAN IP range as well.

Not sure if the default Firewall rules are disabled when in Router mode, so it is possible that a firewall rule has to be created to allow traffic from DMZ to LAN.

Regards,

Kremena

Thanks for the information.  One last question: Do you know how this affects the PPTP VPN capabilities of the router?
