Hello,
I have a problem with the RV320 router at my VOIP provider.
outgoing calls works well and remains stable.
I cons by problems for incoming calls.
My supplier has made zywall tested with the sonicwall and the same problem returns.
According to them should I change the timout UDP sessions deliver and connect to 180 seconds.
Can I do that directly in the configuration file RV320 because I have no option to change for this value.
Thanks

Session Timeout The session timeout is the time it takes for the TCP or UDP session to time out after a period of idleness.
To open this page, select Firewall > Session Timeout in the navigation tree.
TCP timeout—Input the timeout value of TCP sessions.The default for TCP timeout is 1800 seconds.
UDP timeout—Input the timeout value of UDP sessions. The default for UDP timeout is 30 seconds.

On firmware 1.1.1.19 that option is not there. Are we missing something here?

hello the option is not available directly on the web interface.
Yet I could change this value in the following way.
Backup Configuration
Edit the .exp file with notepad
Change the value 30 by 180
Restore backup change
[AGING_TIME]
TCP_DEFAULT = 1800
UDP_DEFAULT = 30 change to 180
NUMBER = 0
The problem has been resolved

Did you have to do anything else to the file? When I try to reload it, I get a critical failure message and he file doesn't load.

Hello,
If you edit the config file the checksum changes and you will not be able to load it back to the RV320.
Please make sure your device is on the latest firmware 1.1.1.19 and the UDP timeout should be available.
Firewall > Session Timeout

Thanks for the update
The RV320 that we are reviewing in the lab has beta firmware and the options are there.
Thus, you could wait for the next firmware release and the options should be available. We do not know when the firmware will be released.
Or, you can give us a call at 866.606.1866, create a case and we would review with development team.
