Hi All,
I have just installed a RV042G. It works great. I have one single problem. I can access the Web-based configuration utility from every machine and VM except those that are using Windows 10.
I have tried all variations of http://192.168.1.1 and on the Win 10 machines or VMs they all come up with a page not found.
Is this a known issue or does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Geoff

Hello Geoff,
My name is Patrick with Cisco eSupport. Have you heard of FindIT? FindIT is a free tool that automatically discovers the equipment on your network and allows you to easily access configuration utilities and download firmware updates. You can download it and try it out here:
https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286286120&softwareid=283453334&release=2.0.0
I know that the software works smoothly with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Give this a try and let me know if it helps you out.
Best,
-Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Thank you very much for the assistance. Unfortunately I can't get it to work at all on any of my machines, including those that can access the cisco via the ip address.
The Bonjour service is enabled on the cisco and all the machines are on the same subnet. I tried version 2.0 and 2.3. I tried running it in administrator mode. I couldn't think of anything else. Unless I've missed something obvious I'll just use the other machines for router administration. It's no real big deal, I'm just a little anal retentive and don't like things not working.
Best Regards,
Geoff
