I continulaay get input CRC errors on my 3550 only when I connect to routers (2621). I have changed ports on both the 3550 and 2621 and changed the cable, but still get the CRC errors.
Config is below
Any help is appreciated -
Jeff

!
interface FastEthernet0/2
no switchport
ip address 209.3.59.9 255.255.255.252
duplex full
speed 100
!
2621 config
!
interface FastEthernet0/1
ip address 209.3.59.10 255.255.255.252
speed 100

It seems like the problem is not on the interface, but a host on your lan is generating the bad packets. also you will need to examine the entire config to really determine the actual source of problem.

Turns out to be an interoperability issue between the 3550 and 26xx routers. If directly connected, there are CRC errors on data coming from the 2600 to the 3550. If I place a hub between the 3550 and 2600, the errors disappear. Cisco support now has the issue
Thanks

The issue was resolved by Cisco support yesterday. Turned out to be a CDP problem with the 3550 when connectied to a 26xx router. Per Cisco Support it is bug CSCef71702 and resolved in 12.2(35)SEA
Thanks to all who provided things to look at

Did the CRCs go away when you upgraded?

Since CDP is not a big issue, we have not upgraded yet, but will during our next maintenance cycle. As long as we have CDP off, there are no errors
