From what I can see, it seems that EIGRP is bouncing. What I did was I cleared the Fa0/1 counters and I checked it after 4 hrs. I have found no incrementing errors.
I also did 'sh ip eigrp neigh', I checked for uptime. It was stable for 4 hrs.
Is my assumption that EIGRP is bouncing correct ? If yes, what are other things that I should check (what show commands etc.) ?? If not, what troubleshooting steps should I take ??
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, please make sure that if there is an ACL on either side of that Ethernet link, that ACL has:
permit eigrp any any
let me know if that helps.

What is attached to this port? Is it on the end of a long reach ethernet / LES?
Some circuits (particularly where there are multiple ISPs involved in the delivery) do not forward on corrupted frames so if the error is not on the 'last mile' the counters don't show any issue, but packets are dropped quietly. It may be worth checking the reliability on a "show interface" or running ping tests to the next hop when you are having the issue.
What reason does the router at the other end give for sending the goodbye message? It will probably say the dead timer expired indicating too many hello packets went missing.

Check the trunking between your router and the switch as well.
