Depends on what the application is going to be.

There is no such thing as "price AND performance".  

You need to state the specification and/or the application on what you're looking for.  10 Gbps interface switch can range from 4500, 6800, Nexus 5K/6K, etc.  It all depends on what you're trying to achieve and then match it with how much you're willing to spend.
