Hi
I would like to check if 10GLANPhy can be configured on the Cisco Nexus switch to form a fiber to fiber connectivity between 2 data centres at different site. The 10GLANPHY protocol statement provided by the local ISP, asking if our switch can handle the protocol and handoff of the LC cable.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ken,
I don't think so the nexus were supporting LAN PHY / WAN PHY protocols.
LAN/WAN-PHY support in Cisco IOS XR software is based on the IEEE 802.3ae standard.
You have to installed one of the following cards that supports the LAN/WAN-PHY controller,
– 1-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN-PHY Shared Port Adapter
– 4-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN-PHY PLIM (XFP optics)
– 8-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN-PHY PLIM (XFP optics)
– 14-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN-PHY PLIM
– 20-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN-PHY PLIM
