Hello, currently I'm having issue with my webserver after I done rebooting. Now I cannot access my website externally and it will return with these error message using IE.

While trying to retrieve the URL:
The following error was encountered:
Connection Failed The system returned:

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.
Your cache administrator is root.

Before it works fine but after having power trip the server rebooted and now my web app is not accessible.
The configuration was done on the previous IT guy and unfortunately I can't find him. So now Im disperate for any help
I beleive there is something wrong with the NAT configuration "translated address" thou we can ping the IP address. I also suspect if its the domain issue. But honestly I really dont know, so please if anyone can help. Thank you
plz. check the attached screenshot

Hi,
So you can't access webserver by IP from outside but you can from inside?
Or are you trying to access by name ?
try to ping your webserver address from inside then ask someone to do it from outside with public address.
if it works then ask someone to ping webserver from outside with fully qualified domain name
give us results and if one of those fails then post following output from router:
-show ip nat translation icmp
- sh run | section nat
-sh arp
- sh ip route
EDIT: I pinged with domain name and it worked so your static NAT and DNS are working.
I think the problem lies in the server or there is an ACL issue. Are you running firewall feature on this router or have ACL applied?
---> sh run | section zone and sh access-list and sh run interface
Regards.

Hi,
I had tried from outside and it worked indeed so as I said it is not a NAT problem nor an arp cache problem nor a routing problem.
If it is something on the router it could be an ACL or firewall feature like I said above.
But I would also investigate the server as it seems the http service may be down because when I tried to telnet to port 80 from outside it failed.
Can you browse from inside ?
Regards.

the router is connected to the firebox firewall then to the server.. I can also access telnet port 80 using putty and browsing the web app inside is also possible.
Also one thing i notice is that before i can use remote desktop from my house but now i cannot connect anymore.

Hi,
in your browser there should have an entry for your proxy, just uncheck the box to not use it.
