1841 / 2801 DSL Firmware update

Hi

I've been looking and I can really find much info about this, I got a 1841 and 2801 router with ADSL WIC cards and both are synching really low compared to my cheap home router

This leads me to believe I need a firmware update so I got the adsl_alc_20190.bin and loaded it into flash and reloaded my router but its still saying my firmware is using an embedded one.

Can some one please point me into the right direction for a firmware update and what its called?

bump so im trying to find a firmware update for:

Alcatel 20166/20174

Can any one help?

The firmware you've been trying is for a different ADSL chipset and HWIC so that's why it won't load.

It looks like you've got a WIC-1ADSL-I-DG or WIC-1ADSL-DG and, according to

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps221/prod_bulletin0900aecd801d5c4c.html, firmware

13.101, which you're running, seems like the latest.

Thanks for clearing that up for me , i am now synching with a Billion Router and ive bridged it to my 1841 so i can get better sync speeds
