1921 throughput wan circuit

hi, i a little confused about wan circuit throughput.

I have a  1811 as a border router, currntly this router  has 4 wan conecctions.  30/10 , 20/20 , 12/6 and 20/20 Mbps.

and it has also 12 vpn ipsec vpn active.

the router works fine with 20% of cpu usage average.

here is the thing, i want to change the 1811 for a 1921 router becouse i need AES-256 encryption, i've red  wan circuit throughput for 1921 is 15Mbps.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/sites/default/files/legacy/9/0/4/131409-white_paper_c11_595485.pdf

should it be a problem ?

i think 1921 is better than 1811 so all this stuff with wan circuit throughput got my a litte confused.

thankyou for your answer.

Hello,

Since your router is doing IPSEC encryption, you need to check IPsec performance. 1921 has definitly has more throughput. 1841 offer 40Mbps IPsec throughput while 1921 offers about 150M.

The only thing I noticed in the datasheet was 1811 supports EAS 256.
