2 Layer2 Circuits across Nexus 9Ks

Hi Geeks,

We have 2 layer 2 circuits between our data centers connecting to 2 different Nexus 9k switches on both ends. Is it possible to achieve a load sharing or an auto-failover in case of one circuit going down. Currently we switch routes manually whenever a circuit goes down.

Below is how we have the circuits connected

SiteA-9K-1 Connects to SiteB-9K-1
SiteA-9K-2 Connects to SiteB-9K-2

SiteA-9K-1 & SiteA-9K-2 are vPC paired
SiteB-9K-1 & SiteB-9K-2 are vPC paired

 Any help highly appreciated.

Thanks

Sure you can deploy Port-channel  also suggest to use vPC

Multilayer vPC for Aggregation and DCI

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Dual sided between two DCI need four connections, you mention two circuit so you can connect only two link, so I think it simple connect NSK to other one in other site.

Now for static route can you try add two static route for each NSK

One towards NSK of other site and 9ther towards NSK in same site and modify the metic.

Or use IGP and modify cost and make each NSK prefer direct connection by make cost for link interconnect two NSK in same Site more than cost of direct connection
