2821 throughput link

Where can I find the 2821 throughput information? Recently our router crashed couple times after a pc sends 300bytes/packet with 11k packets/s. This only equals 26.4M/s. Though the router also runs qos policy and hsrp etc. The moment the pc generates the packet(UDP, an legitiated traffic), the router cpu went up 99% and stopped forwarding packets. It doesn't make sense to me. Thanks

Hi,

You can find that here:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/765/tools/quickreference/

It appears that your problem is not the actual forwarding capacicy of the router but some feature that you have enabled... Would you be able to post the output of 'sh proc cpu sorted' at the time your CPU hits 99% ?

Hope that helps.

Pls remember to rate posts.

Paresh.
