Hi,

I'm having problem configuring the privilege mode of the 2960 catalyst, every time i configure the command:

IOS: "flash:c2960-lanbase-mz.122-25.SEE2/c2960-lanbase-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin"

username test privilege 5 secret test

privilege exec level 5 show cdp neighbors
privilege exec level 5 show cdp
privilege exec level 5 show proc cpu
privilege exec level 5 show proc cpu history
privilege exec level 5 show proc mem sorted
privilege exec level 5 show proc cpu sorted
privilege exec level 5 show history
privilege exec level 5 show history all
privilege exec level 5 show log
privilege exec level 5 show redundancy
privilege exec level 5 show running-config

every time i login the username "test" and run the command "show run" i am only getting this result

SW#sh run
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 13 bytes
!
!
!
!
end

SW#sh run full
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 13 bytes
!
!
!
!
end

the only options are:

SW#sh run ?
brief      configuration without certificate data
full         full configuration
interface Show interface configuration
| Output modifiers

<cr>

What to config to view the full "show run" command

Thank you so much!

Hi

This is an expected behavior with show run and privileges.

Please take a look on this Cisco documentation that explains why:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security-vpn/terminal-access-controller-access-control-system-tacacs-/23383-showrun.html

And here a discussion in there community regarding the same question:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/10813536/show-running-output-incomplete

Thanks
