Hi,
I'm currently testing the catalyst 3650. I noticed that although it runs on IOSXE, it doesn't seem to have VASI feature. Also I noticed the presence of the "Internal Interface" feature and the "Group VI" feature in the interface command hierarchy. I could not find much documentation explaining what those are and what purpose they serve. Could anybody enlighten me ?
Ultimately what I'd like to know is if there's any way to "internally" connect two VRF of the same chassis without using a looping cable. On the 3650 obviously.
Thx for any help.

Hi Jad,
There's no way you will be able to do it without doing a physical loop. Another way is to do route leaking between VRF's. For this you must use the import functionality of route-target and enable BGP.
HTH.
Please rate helpful post.

Hi Terence,
thx. What about the "Internal interface" and "Group VI" commands ? What are they good for ?
BR,
Jad.
