3750X Switch Transceiver compatibility Issue

Dear All,

I have WS-C3750X-24T-S switch with C3KX-NM-1G and now i want to put a transceiver GLC-EX-SMD= in the switch SFP port, is this GLC-EX-SMD= compatable with that switch ?. i thorughly check the product datasheet and compatible chart but their i don't have seen ?. Please help me.

Sorry to say this module is not supported on WS-C3750X-24T-S.

This is supported on 3750Metro switches.

I check the compability list again:

for the WS-C3750X-48T and found that:

GLC-EX-SMD

(CPN 10-2624-01 or later only)

Please tell me what is "CPN 10-2624-01 or later", how can I get that for GLC-EX-SMD can work on 3750X, thank you.

It will work on the 3750X.

10-2624-01 is the Cisco Part number.  The last two digits, i.  e.  "01", is the version number.
